Built on Performance.

Backed by Experience.

When I started my rugby journey, I was told I was too small to succeed.

By the time I finished, I was starting at fly-half for my university team. The road there wasn’t clean: I tore my ACL twice, battled through multiple other injuries, and spent years experimenting with training that didn’t always deliver.

Like so many other amateur players in those days, I threw myself into CrossFit, Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting, and Bodybuilding, trying my utmost to enhance my abilities but never really knowing what worked or why.

I tried different diets, different coaches, and even gritted my teeth through some rotten 10x10s along the way.

I know exactly what it feels like to grind through sessions, wondering if the work is really making you a better player.

I know the frustration of injuries, wasted time, and missed opportunities.

After that, I was determined to change things.

I’ve now spent over 20 years in rugby (Union and League) and paired that experience with serious study. I hold two degrees from the University of Oxford and the University of Edinburgh, plus a stack of qualifications in Strength & Conditioning, British Weightlifting, and Sports Psychology tools for coaches.

Even while I was still at university, I knew what I was aiming for. While studying for my degree, I ended up playing and working with the Jordanian National Rugby Team. I’ve also had the chance to train briefly with the Scotland Touch Rugby squad, sharpening my understanding of speed, agility, and precision at the highest level.

Today, I serve as Head of Strength & Conditioning at my local rugby club in Edinburgh, while also helping people all over the world.

Every programme I design blends:

  • Real-world rugby experience

  • Sports science you can trust

  • Coaching insight from diverse environments

No gimmicks. No fluff. Just the work that works.

My mission is simple: to take the guesswork out of your training, help you avoid the mistakes I made, build resilience, and get game-ready for life in the smartest, kindest way possible.

Rugby requires resilience, discipline and teamwork, and so does life.
